This month, we are transforming hair in Cambridge with our Great Lengths
Hair Extension offer. Great Lengths are world leaders in hair extensions
for over 20 years. Made from the finest 100% human hair of guaranteed origin
and ethicality our hair extensions can be used for volumising, lengthening,
colouring or simply adding texture. With over 55 colours and a range of
textures to choose from, we start with a free consultation guiding you through
your requirements and new style.
The bonding system we use to attach the extensions is pH balanced so won’t upset hair or scalp. The
extensions are attached close to the scalp, so as your hair natural grows, the
extensions come down with the hair.
Please allow 2-3
hours to apply the extensions, with that time why not have some additional
pampering with an OPI manicure or pedicure, just let your stylist know when you
are booking in. Once the extensions are applied we can colour the hair to match
or if your natural hair is dull, we would recommend applying an INOA gloss to
match hair extensions.
There is minimal aftercare, if you follow
our useful tips your extensions can last up to 6 months!
1) Do not shampoo
your hair for at least 48 hours after your extensions have been applied to
allow the bond to set.
2) Always dry
your hair thoroughly, starting at the bond, as it is at its most vulnerable
when wet. If you are towel drying, use a blotting motion and wrap the hair in a
towel to remove excess moisture. If you are using a hair dryer, keep it on a
cool or warm temperature.
3) Use a soft bristle brush from the bonds to the ends
of the hair, ghd oval dressing brush is perfect for this. Do not brush between
the scalp and bond, instead separate the bonds with your fingers on a regular
bases to prevent matting.
4) When using straighteners, tongs and heated
rollers, kept them away from the bond area.
Please note that whilst our extensions suit most
lifestyles, some circumstances may affect the lifespan of your bonds, or in
fact, cause them to breakdown for example swimming regularly in sea or
chlorinated water, regular sauna or stream room use or excessive aerobic
activity.
Book in with us when you are ready for your extensions
to be removed, our take out procedure simply involves pouring our solution onto
the bonds and sliding them out. There is no wait period between taking them out
and putting new extensions in so you can constantly have longer, thicker hair.
